Perhaps the best feature of the Wix Logo Maker is the ability to customize. It’s based on an AI driven design system to create an infinite amount of customizability. It also features unique icons created in-house, including multiple colors and unique 3D designs.
The customization scope goes beyond the general color, font and size. You can also adjust every element of your logo individually, trying different variations that are saved and can be accessed later.
Another benefit is that after you purchase the logo with any package you get a matching website.
Moreover, you can build your entire brand with the Logo Maker including branded merchandise, such as business cards, magnets, tote bags, t-shirts, and mugs. You can customize your products exactly the way you want.
With the Professional plan, you get 50+ files that are sized to fit all social media channels.
If you want to make your own logo, it is really simple thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions and with the Wizard. The process is simple, just answer the wizard’s questions. Using AI technology, it provides you with the best designs for you to choose from.
The drag and drop functionality of Wix applies also to its Logo Maker.
One of the best features is that you can save your projects before you buy them. That way you can think about the purchase, consult with a client or team and then buy it when you are sure. You can continue to build your brand with your logo using the branding tools.
It’s the only logo maker that gives you a free sample although it can’t be used for commercial purposes. It’s a small feature that most other solutions don’t provide. It allows you to share your work in progress to a potential client or partner without having to publicize it on social media.
You can purchase your logo in 2 ways: Just Logo, or Logo + Website:
There are 2 plans if you want to buy just the logo; Basic ($20) and Advanced ($50) (one time payment). The Basic plan allows you to download the logo as a PNG, supporting transparent backgrounds and you get 8 high quality logo files in a range of colors. The Advanced plan includes the same as the basic, plus variants in SVG (which allows you to print your logo in high quality), 50+ files that are custom fit for all social media channels.
There are 3 plans for the Logo + Website; Value ($11 monthly), Professional ($16 monthly) and Deluxe ($24 monthly).
The Value plan allows you to use your logo commercially, whilst providing a combo website plan and a free domain for 1 year.
The Professional plan includes the same as the Value plan, plus it provides resizable logo files, social media logo files, an unlimited website plan and 250 business cards.
The Deluxe plan gives you everything that the Professional plan includes, plus priority customer support and help from a Wix design expert.
To try all this, you’ll need to sign up to Wix. Designing the logo is free so it is a good option.
Most of the support for Wix users can be found in the Help Center, including contact information. You can find all the basics of the Logo Maker there. The website also has a blog full of design tips and inspiration to get you started.
The ticket system provides support by email, phone, Facebook and more. It’s straightforward to use. You are asked to provide a screenshot and the URL of the page that the error happened on. If you want to use phone support, you can leave your number (including country and area code) and they will call you.

What’s great about Tailor Brands is how straightforward their platform is. Like we mentioned above, you don’t need any design or coding skills to make a logo, launch your website, or create social media posts. Their user interface is simple, and their tools are geared specifically towards small business owners with no design or coding experience.
Tailor Brands offers 3 different pricing plans, depending on your needs. You can pay on a month-to-month basis, or purchase a plan for a year or two at a time. (Note that, while monthly may be more convenient, you’ll save a lot of money if you choose an annual plan.) The Basic plan is just $3.99/month, and it gives you high-quality logo files, your logo in every size, and an online brand book. You’ll also have limited access to a graphic design tool and website templates. The Standard plan comes to $5.99/month, and it offers everything in Basic plus access to a wider range of website templates and brand assets, and a domain name that’s free for the first year. The Premium plan is $12.99/month (billed annually), and it covers everything in the previous plans, in addition to unlimited access to website templates and social media designs.
Tailor Brands offers customer support by email or through online chat. Although they do not currently offer phone support, their support team responds to queries within 24-48 hours, in addition to offering a complete FAQ section with helpful guides.

Smashinglogo is available in a wide range of languages, which is something other tools don’t provide. This tool focuses on its logo maker features, without extra services such as business cards or website design. It does not provide sample logos or testimonials.
The user interface takes you straight to the logo maker, where you can type your company name, a tagline or slogan, select a style and let the logo generator do its magic. However, there is no option to choose logos or fonts. You can select colors and include a tagline instead. It features a large library of icons and typefaces.
Smashinglogo provides PNG logos with a transparent background for the basic plan, with PDF versions in the Business plan. Other features include a basic editor and you can hire a professional designer to customize your logo.
Probably the biggest setback of the logo generator is that there is a time limit to input the company name and timeline. The actual time limit is not listed, but you can reach a point where the software stops generating logos.
One of the advantages of SmashingLogo is that there is no sign-up, the app registers who you are using cookies. Moreover, the app keeps your logos up to two weeks while you decide which one to buy. This can be the most remarkable feature because it allows you to go back and review your logos anytime.
The user interface is very simple to use. It is not explained but pretty straightforward to figure out.
The real issue lies with the lack of customization. Since you don’t have customization options, you just have to continue clicking “Generate” until you find a logo you like. Then you can go to the “Variations” screen and look if you find a variation you like more than the original.
The logos you generate get saved for 14 days, so you can go back to them for review before purchasing. However, you can only save from one computer as the system recognizes the IP and does not allow you to see your logos from another device.
SmashingLogo offers a wide chart of colors, but you cannot choose the colors for each element. When you pick one color, the entire color scheme of the logo changes to match the color you picked.
At the end of the day, you can get a logo in a few minutes if you are lucky and find the one you like right away.
There are Standard and Business plans. The Standard plan goes at $39 and gives you editable file formats. The Business plan, at $59 offers high-resolution logos. The Premium, at $119 is the only plan that supports files with transparency.
Another feature of the Business plan offers a guarantee, where you can change the logo you bought for another one you made with their generator. You have up to 30 days to do it and you can change it only once. However, there are no refunds or free logo samples.
The premium plan offers advanced customization for one hour and the option to have a professional designer do your logo. There are no revisions available after you pay.
Whatever plan you choose you’ll get all rights of usage for the logo, but keep in mind you don’t get the copyright.
SmashingLogo features a basic description page: “How it Works” but offers no tutorials or blogs. The FAQ page is fairly basic.
However, there have actual humans on the support line. Although they only support email, you can contact via an online form or to the email address they provide. They respond quickly. The downside is that they have not listed the hours of availability so you have to calculate the time zone difference.
High-quality default designs
Looka is the new brand of Logojoy. The new version features a wide selection of add-on services. However, the features are limited because it is focused on getting the logo up in minutes. It is AI-powered, including a step-by-step wizard that generates a logo based on your answers to a few basic questions.
The customization options are really advanced, allowing you to customize the typefaces, the icon, the colors. The limitations are in the size and position of the logo. The range of drag and drop is limited also.
The constraints have the goal to encourage you to use the logos they have. The truth is that the default logos are very high quality, following an algorithm that balances the spacing and proportions. Another reason for restricting the layout and positioning of the components is to make easier for non-designers to have a good looking logo.
An interesting feature is that you get unlimited revisions for the first 72 hours after you buy the logo.
It appears to be easy: follow the wizard, find the icon you like and make the base logo. The wizard is pretty straightforward, you type your logo name and answer a few questions and Looka gives you potential logos. The editor is easy to use, and you can use the history function keeping track of the logo versions. However, some functions like the color picker are not clearly labeled.
Looka also lets you save your project before you pay. You can easily save variations of your logo. For design inspiration, you can use the editor panel of example logos.
It has a basic plan that includes a single PNG file. The Premium plan offers SVG, EPS and PDF formats, lifetime tech support and a brand guide. Next comes the Enterprise plan, which includes all of that, plus Business Card add-ons and a Social Media kit.
Getting the Premium plan also includes scalable formats, which are useful for 4K video and Retina screens. However, there have no free logo samples.
All plans, even the Basic, give you full ownership including commercial use. The basic plan goes for $20/one time fee, the Premium for $65/one time fee, and the Enterprise for $80/one time fee.
Looka features a Knowledge Base that can be accessed from any page, where you can find answers to the most common questions right from the editor.
There is no phone contact but the support email address is tied to the chat system. That means that if you send them an email they connect you to a chat conversation. There is also a Help Center that uses a chatbot to search the knowledge base for the most relevant articles.
However, the live chat is not on 24/7. The service runs on American EST with a 12-hour window. Nevertheless, they answer pretty quickly during these hours, with an average of five minutes.

Download is priced
Free Logo services feature thousands of templates. You can download multiple high-quality files. The options include business cards and custom promotional products. You can try and create logos free of charge, paying only when you are sure to purchase it.
However, the customization options are limited. While you can take a base logo and customize the wording, font type, and colors, the options are not as varied as in other logo makers. The software supports an array of languages including English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
You can get social media files and a number of image formats including vector image files. One of the advantages mentioned in positive user reviews is the logo library features a great variety of options. Some users note the intuitive interface as a positive note.
The system is easy to use. FreeLogoServices leverage AI to provide logo samples according to the basic information you give. You input the industry and some details about your company such as the name and what it does. The software then offers you thousands of logos to choose from.
Once you select your base logo, you can add or change features. One of the best features of FreeLogoServices is that you can save your logo for future use.
FreeLogoServices has several packages from a Starter Custom Logo Package at $99 to a Gold Custom Logo Package at $645. Buy a single logo cost $39.95.
The license provides a non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license to your logo. An interesting feature is that you can have a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date. Moreover, if you are not satisfied with the logo after you saved it, you can edit it for up to 5 days. Once the 5 days passed, you must purchase the log if you want to make more changes.
FreeLogoServices has an in-depth FAQ section. It answers questions about payment, creating an account and modifying logos, among other sections. The logo maker doesn’t have a chat or phone number to call support. There is, however, an online contact form.
From customer reviews, we gather that the delivery time for extra services such as business cards is slow and support was weak.

They have an FAQ page with a video tutorial on the home page, as well as a blog with basic design tips. An interesting feature is that they list their Twitter as a way to contact for support. This means you can get quick answers on the spot.
